Gym OS

About Gym OS

Running a gym in Nigeria today means running three jobs at once — trainer, accountant, and debt collector.

Somewhere between 3,000 and 5,000 gyms are running across Nigeria's major cities right now — and if yours is one of them, you didn't need us to tell you the industry outgrew its tools years ago. The paper register at the front desk. The WhatsApp group you use to chase dues. The spreadsheet nobody updates until someone remembers. It's not a software gap. It's money walking out your door every single week, and you've been the one absorbing it.

Why we built it

Nigerian gyms deserve software that understands them.

It started with a conversation. A gym owner — three locations, over two hundred members, a business she had spent seven years building — was still tracking renewals in a WhatsApp group and reconciling payments in Excel every Sunday night. Not because she was behind, but because nothing better existed for her.

The international platforms were there. She had tried two of them. They did not take Moniepoint. They quoted in dollars. One of them had never heard of Paystack. They were built for a gym in their own market — and then, with minimal adjustment, pointed at Nigeria and called it global.

So we built Gym OS from scratch. Not adapted. Not ported. Built — starting from the reality of a busy front desk on a Monday morning, members queuing, network flickering, staff multi-tasking paper and memory. Every feature in this platform exists because a real Nigerian gym owner needed it. The POS & transfer integrations. The naira pricing. The QR check-in that works on any Android tablet version. The audit log that tells you exactly which staff member did what and when.

  • 01Opay and Moniepoint, connected out of the box
  • 02Priced in naira — no dollar conversion, no surprise renewal
  • 03Built around how gyms actually runs a daily here in Nigeria
  • 04See today's revenue the moment you open the app — no calls, no waiting
  • 05Expired members blocked at the door automatically — no human discretion

Who you'll be dealing with

A Nigerian team. Your working hours. No ticket queues.

Gym OS is built and maintained by SkylineCodes — a software agency based in Nigeria, building serious software for African businesses. We are not a faceless platform with a help centre and a chatbot. When something needs attention, you reach a person who understands your business, speaks your language, and knows what pains you are going through on a Monday when the first members are already at the door.

Data

Your gym's data is yours alone.

Your gym runs on its own private instance — your members, your payments, your numbers, in a database no other gym on the platform touches. On Growth and Professional, that extends to a dedicated server environment. Nobody else here can see what your gym takes in a month, and neither can the gym down the road.

Where it's headed

This is version one. We shipped it because it was ready.

Not because every idea we have is in it. Not because there is nothing left to build. We shipped it because the core — members, payments, check-in, staff, reporting — solves a real problem that Nigerian gyms are dealing with right now, today, and waiting another six months to add more features would just be cowardice dressed up as perfectionism.

It will keep getting better. That much we can promise.
